Bhuntar Airport-Kullu Manali
Bhuntar, situated on the confluence of the Parbati and Beas rivers, is one of the main towns of Kullu District in Himachal Pradesh. Bhuntar is around 10 km south of Kullu. Kullu-Manali Airport serves Kullu in Himachal Pradesh state, India. The paved runway is 3,700 ft and lies at an elevation of 3,573 ft. Indian Airlines and Jagson Airlines are the major companies operating at this airport Taxi service is available outside the airport premises.

The Silver Valley has nature's treasures that lie carelessly scattered as flowers. This wealth nestles by every tree in the splendid forests, bursts forth in the blooms and in the fruit of every orchard. Here are riches which cannot be measured and echo down the ages with the words of every myth and ancient legend and glow in the warm smiles of its gentle people.
   
Around Bhuntar

Bajaura : Bajaura is situated on National Highway 21 in Kullu District in Himachal Pradesh. This village is 15 km south of Kullu, 55 km from Mandi and 5 km from Kulu Bhuntar Airport. There is a temple named Basheshwar Mahadev Temple famous for stone carvings and sculptures. One can enjoy river rafting on the Beas River from Manali to Jhiri near Bajaura.

Bijli Mahadev : 10 kms. from Kulu across the Beas river, this temple is one of the striking temples in the temples. A panoramic view of Kulu & Paravati valleys can be seen from the temple A 60 feet high staff of Bijli Mahadev temple glistens like a silver needle in the sun. In this temple of lightening it is said, the tall staff attracts the divine blessings in the form of lightening. The presiding deity is Lord Shiva.

Camping Sight Raison : ( 1,433 metres ) 16kms. away from Kulu, the sight is ideal for spending a quite holiday in solitary splendor and for holding youth camps. There are a large number of orchards in this part of the valley. HPTDC has log cabins for comfortable stay.

Jagan Nath Temple : 3 km., a stiff climb leads one to the shrine from where one gets a panoramic view of Kullu town.

By Road: The Rohtang pass is 55 KM north of Manali on National Highway No 21. Regular buses, coaches and taxies play from Delhi and Chandigarh.

Jagatsukh : ( 6 km. ) The original name of this was 'Nast', it remained the ancient capital of Kullu for
