Named
after 'Abode of Lord Shiva-Kailash Manimahesh
Peak' (5656m). On a Bright Day Manimahesh
peak, can be seen from the Hotel Manimahesh
that is an ideal place to stay. In western
Himachal Pradesh, the Hill Station of
Dalhousie in District Chamba is full
of old-world charm and holds lingering
echoes of the 'RAJ'. It covers an area
of about 14 sq. km. and is built of five
hills Kath log, Patreyn, Tehra, Bakrota
and Balun.
It is named after the British governor
General of the 19th century, Lord Dalhousie.It
is surrounded by varied vegetation-pines,
deodars, oaks and flowering rhododendron.
