Chandertaal Moon Lake Trekking Tour
Chandertaal lake in Lahaul and Spiti district is situated at an altitude of 4270 metres. It lies between a low ridge and the main Kunzum range. This lake is also known as Moon Lake. The lake is 6 kms from the Kunzam Pass that connects Spiti and Lahaul. Surrounded by snows and acres of scree, this deep blue-water lake has a circumference of 2.5 kms. This is the source of the river Chandra.

The mountains peaks with snow caps and slopes around the valley rise up to 3000 metresto 6300 metres. The mountain ranges are called Moulkila and Chandrabhaga which challenge mountaineers.
