Darlaghat Holiday Package

Darlaghat is located on the National Highway 88 on the Shimla-Bilasour Road, 35 km from Shimla. It is a panchayat town of Solan district and has a Darlaghat Wildlife Sanctuary that was setup in 1974. The sanctuary covers an area of 44 km square and houses variety of animals such as leopard, black bear, Sambhals, wild boars, red jungle fowls and barking dear. Various treks are also organised by Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation here. Darlaghat has been named taking inspiration from the local fruit found here named 'daru'.

Summer in Darlaghat starts from March and end in May. Temperature during this time ranges between 15C and 35C. It is monsoon season from June to September. Winters that extend from December to February are cold with minimum temperature dropping down to -2C and maximum temperature rising to 15C approximately.
