Naldehra is one of the oldest golf clubs in the world. Lord Curzon, the then Viceroy of India (1899-1904), discovered Naldehra set under a thick mane of Himalayan cedar-deodar trees. The Naldehra spur is an offshoot of the Kufri massif which is the highest in the Shimla area.Golf Tournaments are held in the month of June in Naldera,Himachal.

Naldehra is situated at a height of 2044 metres above sea level and is about 22 km from Shimla. This place does not confine its activities to golf alone; there are a series of excursions through the woods and villages for tourists and nature lovers.

Prashar Mela in Himachal
 
PRASHAR TEMPLE : This temple, built in the 14th century, is a shrine where the rulers of Mandi once worshipped. The pagoda-style temple stands in the little green hollow around the Prashar lake, above the town of Pandoh. The views of the mountains are spectacular. Once in a year the traditional fair is held in this centuries old temple which is known as Prashar Mela.
 
 
 
 
 

Solan is 70 Kms from Chandigarh and is situated on Chandigarh – Shimla highway. The most famous annual fair in Solan is known as Shoolini fair.It is a state level historic fair which is held in the honor of Goddess Shoolini reigning deity of this
region.

Himachal culture is radiant in this 2 day long carnival enlinexed with folk dances, songs and trading of locally manufactured products.

Tibetans to hold own Olympics in Himachal MCLEODGANJ, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh— Tibetan Olympics 2008 will be a sporting event for Tibetans to showcase their love and enthusiasm for sports, which draws all peoples together, fostering international friendship, goodwill and understanding.

Tibetan Olympics 2008 will be held from 15 to 25 May 2008 in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.The torch of the Tibetan Olympics will be carried from Gandhi Samadhi in Delhi to Mcleod Ganj, Dharamshala. It will be lit on 30 January (Gandhi’s death anniversary) 2008 and will be carried by a series of Tibetan, Indian, and international runners. Each runner will cover 25 kilometers (covering over 600 kms altogether), before passing on the torch.The five-ring symbol of the international Olympics has been used as a part of the Tibetan Olympics logo to cherish and celebrate the fever of the international Olympics in Beijing in 2008.

Day 1
Reach Nature Notes Resort, followed by an orientation session and allotment of huts.Breakfast at the resort followed by Trekking activity along with Mountain climbing, and rappelling (natural) activities.
Thereafter return to resort for lunch. After lunch, proceed for river crossing (ropes and safety belts are used for this activity). Enjoy activities on site like badminton, volley ball, basket ball, putting greens,
archery etc.Leave for a short night trek (navigation activity) Later, return to resort for dinner and cultural activities. Overnight at Resort.
 
 
Day 2
Early morning session of YOG Asans. After breakfast, proceed to Rohtang Pass/snow point. Participate in activities like snow biking on ATB’s and snow sliding.
Lunch en-route to Vashisht temple. Take a dip in the holy spring and pay your reverence at the temple. Return to resort and unwind. Evening at leisure in Manali town. Dinner at resort along with Campfire, dance and music. Overnight at the resort.
 
  Day 3
Early morning session of YOGA. Morning Refreshments followed by rope courses using Burma Bridge and flying fox.
Breakfast at Resort. After breakfast, archery courses and sports activities.
Proceed for a rafting session. Leave for trek to Hadimba temple and Gathotkach temple in the forest area. Spend evening at leisure in Manali town.
Return to Nature Notes. Riverside Dinner along with campfire, dance and music.
Overnight at the resort
 
  Day 4
Yoga Session in the morning. Tea followed by Nature Walk. Breakfast at the resort. Depart with leasant memories and stay friends with NatureNotes forever
