Naina Devi Temple is one of the fifty-one Shakti Peeths in India. Situated 60 km from Bilaspur district in Himachal Pradesh, Naina Devi Temple is one of the highly venerated Shakti Temples in India.

Jawalaji Temple

Jawalaji Temple is also one of the fifty-one Shakti Peeths in India. It is situated in the town of Jwalamukhi in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Sati's tongue is believed to have fallen at the very place where Jawalaji Temple is now situated.

The tongue of Sati is represented by Holy Flame or Jawala that is perpetually burning. The flames come out from nine different rocks in the temple. The temple is thus named as Jawalaji Temple
 
     
 

Mata Chintpurni Temple lies in the Una village of Una district in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Mata Chintpurni is supposed to take all your worries and troubles away with her. The Chintpurni Temple is dedicated to Mata Shri Chhinnamastika Devi and Mata Chintpurni Devi.

The general belief of the devotees to the Chintpurni Temple is that if you ask for something from the goddess with a true and pure heart, your wish will be fulfilled.Sawan Ashtami Fair and begins on the first Sawan Navaratra.

Bir-Billing (Kangra): With less than a week left for the international paragliding competition to take place here, gliders from various parts of the world have started arriving for the nine-day event in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra.

The event commences on October 19, in Kangra District's Bir Billing Valley, where fifty foreign and about 20 domestic Para gliders will take part. The valley is only the third place in the country perceived as suitable place for paragliding, the other two being-Manali (Himachal Pradesh) and Gulmarg (Jammu and Kashmir).

Kullu Dussehra

Dussehra- In Himachal Pradesh, a week -long fair in the hill town of Kullu is a part of the Dussehra celebrations. From the little temples in the hills, deities are brought in procession to the 'maidan' in Kullu, to pay homage to the reigning deity, Raghunathji.

Tribal Festival is being celebrated since 1994 from 30 October to 2nd November every year at District Headquarter Reckong Peo and this festival has been declared as State Level festival and has been celebrated since 1987 under different names like Janjatiya Utsav, Phulaich Utsav and also as Tribal Festival.
 
 

This festival not only depicts the panorama of rich culture heritage of district but also provides an opportunity to the local people to sell/exhibit their horticulture/agriculture produce, handicraft and artifacts.


Besides the Kinnauri culture groups, participants from other districts/states also present and perform culture programmes symbolising national integration and brotherhood.
